The add-on works exclusively with Google Analytics Version 4 (GA4). You must have an existing Google Analytics account with a property defined for your website. The connection process requires authenticating your Google account and selecting the correct property. For high-traffic sites, this add-on significantly improves AdSanity’s performance by removing data storage responsibilities from your server.

Statistics for views and clicks appear in the AdSanity Reports section within 24 to 48 hours. You can also access the raw event data directly in your Google Analytics dashboard under the Events section. When you create a new GA4 property, note that historical data remains in your old Universal Analytics property. Export any important historical reports before switching properties. After creating a new property, wait 24 hours for full establishment before connecting the add-on. All functions require the latest version of AdSanity Core.
