AdSanity – Conditional Ad Appearance

AdSanity – Conditional Ad Appearance is a WordPress add-on that controls exactly where and when advertisements display on your website. The plugin adds a new meta box to the Create Ad screen titled “Conditional Ad Appearance.” This feature remains disabled by default. You enable it only when you need granular control over ad visibility.

The add-on allows you to set display rules based on multiple criteria. First, you select a condition type from a dropdown list. Options include specific posts, categories, user roles, device types, or MemberPress memberships. You then choose whether the condition must be met or not met for the ad to appear. For device targeting, you can serve three different ads within the same group. For example, one ad loads on desktop, another on mobile, and a third on tablets.

You can combine multiple conditions using logical operators. “And” statements narrow down the display rules. “Or” statements expand the rules. For instance, you can set an ad to display on all pages, and also on posts within the “Animals” category. These conditions work even when the ad sits inside a bigger group. If a group displays across your entire blog, but you hide one ad for a specific category, that single ad will not appear on those posts while the rest of the group displays normally.

The interface dynamically changes based on your chosen condition type. When you select “post type equals pages,” the system shows additional fields for specific page selection.
