UsersWP – Moderate User Registration

UsersWP – Moderate User Registration is a WordPress moderation addon designed for the UsersWP plugin. It helps website owners manually review, approve, or reject new user registrations before granting access to the website. This improves account security, reduces spam registrations, and gives administrators better control over community growth.

The addon adds a registration action called “Require admin review” inside the UsersWP form builder settings. When enabled, every new user registration enters a moderation queue instead of receiving immediate access. After submitting the registration form, users see a notice explaining that their account is under moderation and that approval confirmation will be sent by email. Until approval, users cannot log in to the website.

Administrators can manage pending registrations directly from the WordPress Users page through a dedicated moderation column. They can approve or reject accounts individually from the user profile screen or the moderation interface. Both administrators and users receive email notifications during the review process, which helps keep the workflow organized and transparent.
